I thought all fancy diffusers were basically the same

Hello Reader,

I used to be pretty skeptical about diffuser upgrades. I had the Shark for a long time, loved it. Tried the Tymo, the Bellissima. They all worked well. At a certain point I figured the premium ones were all pretty much the same and I wasn't going to notice a real difference.

Then Laifen sent me one to try, and I figured I'd use it for the sponsorship and go back to my Shark.

I never put my Shark back.
And it wasn't a deliberate decision.

I just kept reaching for the Laifen, and after a few weeks I realized I hadn't touched the other one. That's usually how I know something is actually working better for me.

The thing that's genuinely different is the heat. It dries my hair fast without getting too hot by the end. My other dryers all ran hot after a while. This one doesn't. My hair was fully dry in under 9 minutes with no frizz.

The diffuser bowl attaches magnetically too, so it doesn't fall off mid-session. Sounds minor until it's happened to you.
